Holiday Raffle Winners!
Our first Holiday Raffle was a great success thanks to this wonderful and supportive community of Barnesville. The drawing was held on the evening of December 3rd when Front Street was alive with activity for the annual Tree Lighting ceremony and other special events. Because of the generosity of many donors, HELPERS was able to offer three great prize packages.
Winner of the third prize, a Handmade Lap Quilt and Wine & Cheese Basket ($100 value), was Missy Klemin, Barnesville.
Winner of the second prize, the New York Strip Meat Bundle ($200 value), was John Gilbertson, Barnesville.
And the winner of the first prize, the Barnesville Basket ($400 value) was Joan Thorson, Kansas City, KS. Joan purchased her raffle ticket when visiting her mother Marian Haugrud. Congratulations and thanks to all!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! HELPERS is seeking Volunteer Drivers to provide transportation services for our area seniors for medical appointments in Bville, Fargo/Mrhd, & Fergus Falls. We are also seeking volunteers to add to our Meals on Wheels once-a-week delivery team. This need is heightened over the winter months as many of our volunteers go south for the winter. Drivers are reimbursed for mileage. If you have some spare time and the heart of a volunteer, please contact us. We’d appreciate having you on our team!
HELPERS is always looking to add to our amazing team of volunteers and we have a variety of opportunities to fit your interests and time availability. Give us a call or stop in our office for more information.

Fika—“Take a Break” with Coffee & Conversation, Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, 10-11am, HELPERS office. All are welcome to join us for this monthly morning coffee break. Fika is a Swedish coffee tradition; it’s a time set aside for being together, catching up with friends, and enjoying a little something to eat. Exercises for Seniors,
on Mondays, and Thursdays, 9:30-10, Bville Senior Community Center.
This is a basic, low impact strengthening exercise program to promote body movement and strength.
No pre-registration is required.
Just show up and have fun while also doing your body good!

Tuesday & Friday
Game Day every Tuesday & Friday, 12:45 to 3pm, at the Bville Senior Community Center Join in the fun & games such as Pinochle, Whist, Hand & Foot and Rummy with other area seniors. Coffee and treats served following the activities. The Senior Community Center is located at 501 2nd Ave. NE. Call 218-493-4277 for more information. Transportation assistance can be provided by calling HELPERS in advance.
