Holiday Raffle 2022! HELPERS is holding our first ever Holiday Raffle!
With the generous help of many Bville community donors, we can offer three great prizes for our raffle drawing.
- The 1st prize is a Bville Basket with a value of $400,
- 2nd prize is a NY Strip meat bundle with a value of $200, and
- 3rd prize is a handmade lap quilt and wine & cheese basket with a value of $100.
Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and can be purchased at the HELPERS office or at the Bville Cenex Station.
Best of all, by purchasing a ticket you are supporting the HELPERS mission to serve our area seniors and continue to grow our programming. Drawing will be held on Nov. 30th at the City Tree Lighting Ceremony; you do not need to be present to win.

Grow Young Fitness Program for Seniors
Grow Young Fitness Program for Seniors Barnesville
Channel 12 at 9:05am and 4:05pm Monday through Friday.
Medication Management for MN Seniors, Wednesday, Nov. 16th, 8am-3:30pm, Bville Senior Community Center. Minnesota Seniors are invited to take advantage of this free program designed solely to help you learn more about the medications you are taking and to have expert advice about your medications from pharmacists who are medication specialists. The project pharmacist will assess for concerns regarding all your prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs, and herbals/vitamins and will answer any questions you may have. For more information or to schedule your one-on-one 1-hour appointment, call HELPERS.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! HELPERS is seeking Volunteer Drivers to provide transportation services for our area seniors for medical appointments in Bville, Fargo/Mrhd, & Fergus Falls. We are also seeking volunteers to add to our Meals on Wheels once-a-week delivery team. This need is heightened over the winter months as many of our volunteers go south for the winter. Drivers are reimbursed for mileage. If you have some spare time and the heart of a volunteer, please contact us. We’d appreciate having you on our team!
Winter has arrived! FYI: HELPERS follows the Barnesville School weather closings. If the schools are closed, so is the HELPERS office.

Fika—“Take a Break” with Coffee & Conversation, Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, 10-11am, HELPERS office. All are welcome to join us for this monthly morning coffee break. Fika is a Swedish coffee tradition; it’s a time set aside for being together, catching up with friends, and enjoying a little something to eat. Contact HELPERS in advance if you would like transportation assistance.

Exercises for Seniors,
on Mondays, and Thursdays, 9:30-10, Bville Senior Community Center.
This is a basic, low impact strengthening exercise program to promote body movement and strength.
No pre-registration is required.
Just show up and have fun while also doing your body good!
Game Day!
Tuesday & Friday
Game Day every Tuesday & Friday, 12:45 to 3pm, at the Bville Senior Community Center Join in the fun & games such as Pinochle, Whist, Hand & Foot and Rummy with other area seniors. Coffee and treats served following the activities. The Senior Community Center is located at 501 2nd Ave. NE. Call 218-493-4277 for more information. Transportation assistance can be provided by calling HELPERS in advance.
