On the Benefits of Laughter and Being Silly: Did you know? When you laugh you are doing good for your body and your brain! Research has demonstrated that laughter results in multiple physical and emotional benefits, available to anyone who makes time to laugh. The Mayo Clinic reports that laughing decreases stress, increases immune system response, increases endorphin (your “feel good” hormone), relieves pain, decreases tension, and stimulates your heart, liver and other organs. A good laugh makes us feel good both physically and emotionally. Get your silly on and do yourself some good! (Source: www.goldencarers.com)

Your body cannot heal without play. Your mind cannot heal without laughter.

Your soul cannot heal without joy. – Catherine Rippenger Fenwick
