Our Volunteers

“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that is all who ever have.”
~Margaret Mead

Without them, HELPERS wouldn’t be! We have a wonderful team of 55 volunteers who
are the heart and soul of HELPERS. And it’s a fact, we could not do what we do without them. On the evening of April 24 th , an event was held to celebrate our volunteers and their generosity in giving of their time. It was a lively gathering for dining, socializing, and recognition. The contributions of these volunteers to the HELPERS mission, to the quality of life for our area seniors, to the community, and to this world do not and should not go unnoticed.

From the bottom of our hearts, we say Thank You for all that you do!

Just a reminder, be sure that you are eating well, drinking lots of water, getting some exercise and enough sleep. Find ways to calm racing thoughts by listening to calming music, deep breathing, or any such approach that works for you. Ask for help by reaching out to a friend, family member, your pastor, your neighbor, or to HELPERS. We are here to offer confidential support, a listening ear, referrals, whatever might be helpful in easing your stress.
