HELPERS Wellness Fair is back and we have a great one planned for you! This year our theme is Taking Care of Yourself. We are focusing on the importance of self-care for all of us but especially for those in the fulfilling, yet demanding, role of caregiver.

Taking Care of Yourself!

Just who is a caregiver? Often many in this role do not see themselves as caregivers; they feel they are simply doing what is expected of them as a wife, husband, sibling, daughter, son, friend or neighbor. What we know for sure is that the health and well-being of caregivers is vital for not only the caregiver but also for the loved one being cared for. HELPERS is here to offer support and short-term respite so that you can have some time to relax, de-stress, and re-fuel. We hope that you will consider joining us for the 2022 Wellness Fair. Ask friends or family to stay with your loved one while you take a well-deserved break, keeping in mind that taking care of yourself will contribute to taking better care of your loved one. We invite you to contact HELPERS to request a respite volunteer to stay with your loved one so you can attend the event; we’ll do our best to help you with any barriers that might keep you from taking this important time for Taking Care of Yourself
