Thought for the week
“What advice would you give your younger self?” Isn’t that an interesting question to ponder, especially now that we have the benefit of many life experiences? What have been the greatest lessons you’ve learned over your lifetime? To inspire you, here are some responses to consider (source: Psychology Today) as you answer that question in your own mind, from your own life experiences, and from your own heart.
*Make plans but write them in pencil, because life is unpredictable and you need to be flexible.
*Do what feels right and what makes you happy rather than worrying too much about a decision or following logic.
*Respect yourself and be comfortable in your own skin because your choices, successes, and failures depend on how you feel about yourself.
*Invest in friendships and forgive first because relationships are important and holding grudges is not worth it.
*Solve harder problems and read better books because they can challenge you and help you grow. “In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.”
